Cinnamon Rolls For the First Time!

I'm so excited! These are the first cinnamon rolls that I've ever made that turned out so good looking! (I've not tried one yet).

I'm leaving for Michigan tomorrow with my sisters, sister in law, and (unofficially) adopted sister so I have to save the rolls for the trip. Yay for road snacks! I just was so excited I had to tell you (and show you!) about it.

This recipe was super super easy (if you're patient to let the dough rise long enough :p) and I would say I definitely recommend it, but I haven't tried it yet! I'll let you know how they turned out and what everyone thought of them :) if they turn out good, I'll post the recipe and tell you some tips that I used.

I will hopefully be blogging  more recipe very soon so let me know if you have any suggestions!

Cupcakes and Tea (or Coffee)

Whatever you're in the mood for actually.

KOKO Tea Salon and Bakery in Gahanna is a wonderful place to sit down in an calm and quiet atmosphere and talk with a friend, write, read, or anything else you wish. They have a huge variety of coffee and tea drinks as well as quite a few choices of baked items to snack on.

My personal favorite munchie is the dark chocolate and peanut butter cupcake. Very delicious. I've not found which is my favorite beverage yet, but I've tried the mocha coffee and the strawberry bubble tea. Both very good.

I meet here with my friend every week and the employees have always been very nice and courteous.

So if you ever are in Gahanna and want to find a place to relax to work on school, write, or sit and visit with someone, try KOKO. You'll definitely enjoy it.

Over a Year... and what can I say???

First I can say, "I apologize for how long it's been." But then that would be expected. Still, I could. Another thing I could say is, "I've been extremely busy." And it would be true. Definitely. The next thing I could say is, "Some unexpected things have come up." And I couldn't be more right. But what I want to say is this,

"I got married!"

Of course, I didn't post way before that. So I guess I will say all the things above. "I apologize for how long it's been. I've been busy (and lazy), and some unexpected things came up. And I got married!"

I no longer work a job. I work at home. You know, cleaning, making meals, and pretty-ifying the house. I still get bored sometimes but I love being married. :)

I still play piano, guitar, and violin. But I've added a new instrument to my practices. The upright bass! It pretty easy to learn and super fun. My husband is teaching me. JohnPaul plays guitar, bass, and mandolin. He wants to learning violin but we haven't gotten around to trying it out yet.

I know that no one who would read this probably knows much about my husband so feel free to ask questions if you want to know anything. :)

If I had thought about it, I would have started blogging again before now. But I was very, very, very out of the habit. So it didn't cross my mind until today.

Here's a picture of me and JohnPaul:

So yes, I'm excessively happy.
Yes, I love him to pieces.
Yes, he's the most amazing man on this earth.

So to sum up:
I'm sorry it's been awhile. I've been busy and I got married and my husband is awesome.

Comment, share, whatever.

I'm back from the dead.

New Job

I got a job! I'll be working with my sister. That being said, I will be quitting my hairstyle stuff (for every week anyway). I'll still post on here occasionally, but until I get the hang of the job and balancing my time and all that, I probably won't be posting too much.

Just wanted to let you know that.

Non-Vintage ~ Waterfall Braid

I again, didn't style a vintage look (I sort of ran out of them). But I did a waterfall braid. I didn't get a picture but this is what it basically looked like:
Except not all the way around. I did one on each side going all the way back and pinned them.

(The picture is just a random one I found through search.)

P.S. I'm thinking of changing this to just a new style every week instead of vintage ones because I can't think of any more (that I'm willing to try. So in other words, not Betty Grable :P)
