French Twist ~ 40s

This style was more in the 40s when the war started and women started working. Today I did this and a front poof/pomp thing in the front with my bangs. Here are some pictures:

Break from 50s

I couldn't think of a hairstyle to do. Help! XD So I just kept my hair down today. Until after church tonight. I did this style (without the braid):

But that's no where close to 50s. So... yeah. Any ideas would be great!

Inspired Mary Costa Hairstyle

Today I styled something like this:

Not really turned out. It ended up with the bump on top and the hair on the left side pulled back like that. But I think my hair is too long and it didn't want to curl like that. So.. blah. But hey, I tried :P

40's Pomp

I attempted a style somewhat like The blonde hair in this picture:

However, it didn't turn out very well. My camera I use is dead as well, so I didn't get a picture. Sorry. Tonight I'm either going to have it just curled like I did last week or put up.

Classic 40's waves

Sorry I'm a day late, posting the pictures. I might do this sometimes. Some Sundays I'm gone all day.

Yesterday I styled the 40's curls.  What do you think? I got a comment that I looked like the Andrews sisters

They did something with their bangs that was different, but I took the comment as a compliment since that's somewhat the look I was going for.

I really like this look the best so far. I've started doing it in my hair everyday, actually. Let me know what you think!
